About Ravedigital.com
The Site
Ravedigital.com was a domain name purchased a long time ago by the site owne. For years, it languished, pitifully, without a home.
After browsing fruitlessly for a review site that is the definate answer, without bias or sarcasm, of all things rave and EDM related, the owner decided to draw upon his personal contacts and create his own.
The site aspires to honestly review the rave scene, without the hyperbolic negativity or naive optimism found in other places. We aren’t jaded ravers, but neither are we 16 year old candykids on drugs. Like most of the scene, we are long time party goers who probably fall somewhere in between, and we still have a soft spot for the ideals of the rave and EDM scene that many have forgotten.
We still think raves are cool. We think the cultures that the rave scene spawned are cool. We think that the whole EDM culture is cool. We promise we won’t try to use words like “played-out” or “gay” or “stupid”. We will at the same time take the viewpoint of someone absolutely new to the culture and someone who, at the age of 40, is wondering whether his back is too old for “this kinda stuff” anymore*.
We hope that you enjoy this site as much as we hope that we enjoy delivering it to you.
